EZ Baccarat: The Three-Card Banker-7 Exception

EZ Baccarat changes how a particular winning Banker hand is settled. The game creator describes the central rule as commission-free Banker wins, except that a winning three-card Banker total of 7 returns the Banker stake without profit. That exception is the defining difference covered here.

A Push Is Different from a Win

For a $20 Banker stake, an ordinary winning Banker hand pays $20 profit plus the original $20. If the Banker instead wins with a three-card total of 7, the $20 stake is returned with no profit. A two-card winning 7 does not meet the three-card exception.

The word “winning” matters: the exception concerns a Banker hand that defeats the Player hand. It is not a general rule that every total of 7 wins, and it is not the same as an equal-total tie.

Different from the Banker-6 Half-Payout Rule

Other commission-free baccarat rules may pay half profit on a winning Banker 6. EZ Baccarat’s three-card-7 push is a different settlement. The two games cannot share one paytable simply because both omit the conventional 5% commission. See the commission comparison and worked examples.

Main Bets and Side Bets Are Separate

Dragon 7 and Panda 8 are names associated with separate wagers on qualifying three-card winning hands. An additional wager requires its own stake and complete payout conditions. It is not automatically included in a Banker or Player bet, and a large advertised payout does not make it insurance against all losses.

The main Banker bet’s returned stake on the specified exception is not a side-bet payout. Any side-bet result must be evaluated separately, including its losing outcomes and the relevant paytable.

Commission-Free Does Not Mean Risk-Free

Removing an explicit commission does not remove the mathematical effect of the substitute settlement rule. A return-of-stake exception can create a house advantage even when other wins pay even money. A product name alone cannot establish the return, game speed or outcome of a session.

Faster dealing does not improve an hourly win rate or guarantee recovery. Past results and staking progressions do not alter the settlement rule.
