Free Spins Explained: Promotional Allocations and Game Features

“Free spins” can describe either an externally awarded promotional allocation or spins inside a slot feature. Those are different arrangements. This page explains the terminology; WinnerOnline does not award spins, distribute codes or link to operator promotions.

Promotional Spin Allocations

An allocation normally needs a specified game, number of spins, stake value per spin and usage deadline to be understood. A headline count leaves out essential information. Fifty spins at C$0.10 have C$5 of nominal spin stakes; twenty spins at C$0.50 have C$10. Neither amount is guaranteed cash or an estimate of winnings.

The terms may distribute spins over several days, require separate claims or restrict eligibility by province and account status. An expired allocation or unused portion may be handled differently from winnings already recorded.

Free Spins Within a Game

A game feature may award spins after a trigger in a paid round. No additional stake may be charged for each feature spin, but the original round still had a cost. A bonus buy can also purchase feature entry. Calling those spins “free” does not make the purchase free.

What Happens to Winnings?

Winnings can be credited as cash or restricted bonus funds under the stated terms. Check any wagering requirement, conversion cap and withdrawal condition. The basis matters: a multiplier applied to winnings differs from one applied to the nominal value of the spin allocation.

The bonus-terms overview explains game contribution and wagering bases. These conditions cannot be inferred from a game’s RTP or the number of awarded spins.

Questions the Headline Cannot Answer

Does the offer require a deposit? When must it be claimed and used? Which game and stake apply? Are resulting funds restricted? Those questions need the current written terms of the specific arrangement. This page does not verify any live offer or universal Canadian availability.
