Affiliate Disclosure and Editorial Transparency

Updated: 29 September 2026

Commercial relationships

WinnerOnline is an information website. It may receive a commission when a reader follows an affiliate link and completes a qualifying action with a third-party business. This commercial relationship is relevant when you assess a recommendation or comparison.

WinnerOnline does not add a separate reader fee for following an affiliate link. The destination may have its own charges, eligibility conditions and terms. A headline offer is not a guarantee of value, profit or a withdrawable payment.

What an affiliate link does not establish

A commercial relationship does not prove that a provider is authorised to offer a particular service in New Zealand. It does not guarantee payment, security, fairness or suitability. An overseas licence is not a substitute for checking New Zealand requirements.

The Department of Internal Affairs’ guidance for advertisers explains the restrictions on online casino advertising and the staged licensing framework. As checked on 29 September 2026, DIA states that the advertising prohibition is in effect. An affiliate disclosure does not make otherwise prohibited advertising permissible.

Evidence behind editorial claims

Read About WinnerOnline and our editorial methodology for the standards used to assess claims. A useful review identifies its sources, the exact product and any relevant limitations.

Do not assume that every page is based on a personal deposit, withdrawal test, independent security audit or a fixed multi-step testing programme. A hands-on test claim should identify what was tested, when and under which conditions. Published provider information and direct test results are different types of evidence.

A ranking is an editorial presentation, not proof that a service is best for every reader. Readers should consider both the stated criteria and the commercial relationship. Claims of independence, certification or complete market coverage need evidence.

External websites and privacy

Third-party websites have their own terms and privacy notices. Read those before supplying information or relying on an offer. WinnerOnline cannot access a player account held by another business. Our Privacy Policy concerns this website.

Questions and corrections

Use Contact Us to ask about a link or report a misleading statement. Include the page address, the wording or link concerned and a supporting source where possible.

Gambling support

Gambling involves a risk of loss and should not be presented as a way to earn income. New Zealand support is available from Gambling Helpline on 0800 654 655 or by texting 8006. See our Responsible Gambling resources.
