The label does not have a single universal implementation. Evaluating the claim requires the protocol, the round record and the exact calculation, rather than a badge or a successful animation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hashes are not encryption<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A cryptographic hash produces a fixed-length digest from input data. It is designed to make finding a matching input, or an alternative input with the same digest, computationally difficult. Unlike encryption, it is not intended to be decrypted with a key. The <a href=\"https:\/\/csrc.nist.gov\/glossary\/term\/hash_function\">NIST definition of a hash function<\/a> describes these properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Seeds and commitments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In one common design, a server generates a secret seed and publishes its hash before the relevant round or sequence. When the seed is revealed, its hash can be compared with that earlier commitment. A meaningful check therefore needs evidence of what was published in advance; a hash first supplied after the result cannot demonstrate prior commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A client seed supplies another input, and a nonce or round counter can distinguish calculations that reuse other inputs. Not every game uses all these components. Input order, character encoding, separators and the precise hash or keyed-hash function matter. Changing an input does not guarantee a different displayed multiplier because multiple calculations can map to the same rounded result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What a round check involves<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First identify the game version and published verification method. Preserve the round identifier, prior commitment, disclosed seeds and any required counter. Compare the revealed seed with the commitment, reproduce the documented calculation and apply the game\u2019s outcome mapping and rounding rules. Compare that result with the recorded outcome. These are checks on a past event, not instructions for predicting a later round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A verifier should explain its inputs and method. Do not submit account passwords, payment details or authentication codes to a verification service. An opaque tool that simply displays \u201cfair\u201d provides less inspectable evidence than a reproducible calculation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What a matching result does not prove<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A match shows consistency with the supplied data and algorithm. It does not alone establish how seeds were selected, whether a service selectively withheld rounds, whether the software followed the protocol throughout, or whether cash-out requests were processed correctly. Those questions require additional evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cryptographic verification also does not establish licensing, secure custody of funds or dependable withdrawals. Nor does it eliminate a <a href=\"https:\/\/winneronline.net\/ca\/casino-games\/crash-games\/crash-mechanics-technology\/house-edge-in-crash\/\">house edge<\/a>. A reproducible result can still belong to a game with a negative expected return for participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Common questions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Does provably fair require a blockchain?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No. A commitment and later disclosure can operate without a blockchain. Conversely, recording information on a blockchain does not automatically prove that off-chain inputs or a game interface are accurate.
